Smoothing The Ride

Woodward Avenue in Detroit made history In 1909 when it became the first paved road. One mile of Woodward from Six Mile Road to Seven Mile Road was converted from dirt to concrete thereby smoothing the ride in Henry Ford’s automobiles.
